Beautiful mind

My sister gave me a new perfume and I loved it! I love the scent and the beautiful design of the container! It's a perfume of Bea Alonzo, an actress in the Philippines. I'm not really a fan of her, for me she's a good actress and maybe like any other actress but I totally love her perfume. I'd want more of these but I'm not in the Philippines :(

A little walk

I took a walk outside yesterday. I’ve been inside the house a really long time. I think having a little walk outside would be nice for me. I took my camera with me and went outside. I looked for something nice to take pictures of and I found these flowers. I also took a picture of a cat then I went to the park to swing for a little while. I miss swinging really high I could almost fly but I had my camera with me, and I don’t want anything bad to happen with it so I just swung slowly. When the sun was going down I went back home.

I have a friend here who stays in the same compound with me. Actually she’s one of my best friends. If you’ve read a few of my posts before, you might know Tahani. Actually we don’t go out together here. I’m not really an outgoing person. She’s going to Philippines in a few days. I think I really should go talk to her before she leave. I’m regretting now why I don’t call her. Maybe we’re just waiting for each other to call. So I’m going to now, maybe at Sunday. I just wish she's still here by that time. I don't even know when she's really gonna leave :'(

Favorite cereal

I love having cereal for breakfast! Frosties are the best ;) Sometimes I also put some bananas but we didn't have any this morning. My sister insisted me to go with her at the hospital. She have an appointment. So I went there with her around 9AM and stayed there until 1PM.

It was quite a productive day. I learned how to make tissue pompoms and might consider making a garland of it and hang it on my wall. I'm not sure yet though. How was your day? :)

Diy: Yarn Earrings Holder

I saw this lovely DIY {Do it yourself} in a great blog. Lately, I've been into DIY projects and I loved to make one myself. I saved a lot of DIY projects in my laptop since last week. And I'm happy to find this very simple and inexpensive DIY, could be my first DIY ever with only 1 thing needed that I can surely find around our house: Yarn

I just cut 6 pieces of yarn in the same length and knotted them by sections (refer to the image above). When the yarn was thick enough for me, I started braiding the 3 strands and knotted it afterwards :) Taped it on top of my closet door and voila! I can see my earrings now! I kinda hate picking them up one by one while looking for earrings to wear. And now, I'll just look at my closet door and just get and insert them after anytime! :) Although, I only put the earrings I use more often.

It's so easy and inexpensive and cute! Hope this becomes an inspiration for some of you to start hand-make things for yourself! ;)

Heads Up Salon & Spa

My mom, sis and I went to Heads Up salon yesterday to get a haircut. It had been a long time since I had my last haircut. My hair had already lost its shape. But my hair was just trimmed short. I kinda look just the same but the length of my hair is now shoulder-length. I loved the design/display of the place. It's in my favorite color! When you enter the salon (which is around the Suleimania District and beside RKH/Military hospital), it's like you're just entering in a house! You're gonna ring the doorbell and someone will let you in.

Although the design/display of the salon outside was not that nice, the design inside is very pretty! I absolutely loved their counter, mirrors, and hangers. It's violet everywhere! :)  I was pretty satisfied with my haircut too, but I was expecting more like the picture I showed to my hairdresser. At least it was right ;) Staffs were friendly enough. And I liked how they treated their customers. Staffs are Filipinas and Arabians :)

We can remove our abayas and hang them on those beautiful hangers.

Had a nausea

I was sick all day that day. When I woke up early morning, I was freezing and my stomach ached so much. I felt so nauseated and vomited two times. Whenever I stood up, my head was spinning. It was the worst feeling I had. I lied down on my bed and fell asleep at the end of the bed. I even fell down. I went to the living room and watched a few movies and tv shows. I slept a few more times at the couch. I didn't had any appetite at all. I felt so nauseated whenever I ate. So I just ended up in one cup of noodles for lunch.

I absolutely didn't do anything than sleep, eat a little and watch movies in our tv or in my Galaxy Tab or in the computer. I couldn't stand up. Whenever I did, all I wanted is to just lie down. I still hate that sick and unproductive day.

My love affair with Piano

I love playing the piano. I never took piano lessons so I don't know the piano chords and I also don't know how to read music notes but I play the piano by just memorizing what keys to play. I listen to piano songs sometimes. Sometimes when I'm stressed or mad or just bored, I play the piano and things tend to calm down on relax while I play those beautiful melodies I've learned. It's such a great feeling when you finish one song and you can be able to play that beautiful sound you've been wanting to hear and play yourself. :)

A lovely Mother's day

I am happy that I am so much better now. Mother's day was a great one for us, or me. We gave mom our gift last Friday which is a lovely wallet from Mango. We decided to give her the gift early so she can use it at work last Saturday. My sister and I also made her an Egg-in-the-basket which I thought would be a nice idea. I was thinking of giving her a breakfast-in-bed on Mother's Day but my mum wakes up too early so I just gave her a merienda last Friday.

We went to Hayat Mall after her work and had a wonderful dinner at Applebee's. I totally love their wonderful desserts there. Especially the Triple Chocolate Meltdown. We ordered that and it was totally yummy! It's a chocolate cake with a fudge-filled center that will erupt upon first bite! It's the best part of that dessert. And it is served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream which makes the combination much more delicious! It's one of my favorite desserts to eat. And I also ordered a Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich. And after dinner, we had a little shopping and went home.

I love you mom! You know that words can't express how much I love you. My sister, brother and I are so happy and blessed to have you as our mom. I wish someday I can return everything to you. Someday mom, I'll make you feel like a queen, just like how you treated me like your little princess :)

To my grandmas Mimmy and Lola, I miss you and love you both so much. Happy happy Mother's Day :) I wish I can hug and kiss you both. I promise that I'll be a very good girl Mimmy, you're my inspiration :)

Bedroom ideas

I never had my own room. Here, I share it with my sister and sometimes my brother, and back in Philippines I shared it with my mother and my sister. But now, I want to have my own room. My family and I want to move to a bigger house with 4 or 3 rooms :)

As you can see on the pic above, I already have what I really want to have in my room. Minus the bed I actually want the throw cushions and the chair in front of the bed. :) And I'd love it if I had white tulips in my room. I want my room furniture to be white :) It's pretty, elegant, and lovely! And every night I'll light up a few candles. Making it a wonderful candlelit room and have a more relaxing mood. I've also wanted to have those cute fabric lined storage baskets a long time. For the pot and the squared frame from Ikea, I'm not sure if I really want it since my sis already have those. The circle frame is cute though. And wall lamps either in top of my bed or near my dresser. :)

I'm excited to have my own room! :)

A few things about me ♥

I want to introduce myself to you again. I am Kaycee Macuha and I'm a Filipino. I'm 15 years old. I come from Philippines but now I'm residing here in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I'm a Catholic. I love taking pictures. I love fashion. I want to travel. One day I'm going to Europe, Korea, America and other beautiful parts in the world. I also want to be a stewardess someday. Just an experience. I love the color violet. I play the piano but only know little about it. I speak Filipino and English. I'm starting to study different languages like Arabic, French, Korean, Dutch, Japanese, Spanish, Italian and more. I know I can't learn it all. And I'm starting from Arabic, French and Korean. But it would be great if learn it all right? And also Dutch. My grandma lived in Holland. And I think it would be nice to follow her footsteps and learn Dutch. :)

This morning

The morning is my favorite time of the day. I love waking up early when the sun is already up and I totally love breakfast food. If I do wake up early, I don't like skipping breakfast. Especially when I'm gonna go out early or go to school. Coffee wakes me up. It's kinda always a part in my every breakfast. I also love opening up the curtains and letting the sunshine in. I love how the room turns into a beautiful and naturally lit room. Today I did that again. I remember when I still went to school, I always loved watching the sunrise while dad was driving us to school. Sometimes I took pictures of the beautiful sunshine passing through the clouds or when the sun is slightly peeking through the clouds. I love that scene. 

I'm now sitting in an armchair in front of this laptop and the opened curtain behind my back. Just beside me is a book by Emily Giffin which I read before typing this post. I'm starting to like the story more. Even though I feel sorry for the girl in the book, how sad her story is, I'm getting curious on how she will get back to her feet again.

Weekend shopping ♥

The weekend here is Thursday and Friday.  The weekend was great for me. I missed going out shopping. My mom just started working last 2 weeks so we only have few time to go out. And my sis just started working yesterday. I wish I could also get a part-time job here. But anyway, this weekend was totally great, even though I spent it on the mall. I saw a lot of things I wanted and I'm happy with the things I bought (or they bought for me)  I chose affordable things and glad that there was a Sale! 

What I totally loved the most: my new floral sunglasses from H&M.

Well of course, that all wasn't mine. Some are my sister's and my mom's. We bought so many that day. :)
