Week 2 of 2011

It's back to school again. And this week was too much pressure. We had quizzes all week and a lot of seatworks have been given to us. I also felt sick but I couldn't not go to school because we had so many quizzes. It was on Monday, After Recess I started feeling cold and my head was heavy and I just wanted to lie down. My whole body felt like it was a punching bag. It didn't came to my mind that I should go to the clinic so I just continued on with my day. When I reached in the car I told dad and he bought medicine. He asked why didn't I go to the clinic. I actually don't know why I didn't! haha So yeah, I got better and better. I slept til I got home, changed clothes, ate dinner, made my project and slept. It's a good thing I felt better in the morning. I hated that feeling!

Last Wednesday (January 11) was the giving of report cards. I am so happy with my grades! Especially at Math! I am happier than I ever was with my grades! And also in Physics! I finally got better with those two subjects! :) All of my grades went up and Values and Analytic Geometry were the only ones the same. I still need to do better for this last quarter of my last year as a high school student. So far this is my best year of high school, there are still a lot of days so I gotta keep making more memories!

Last Tuesday (January 10), we celebrated my mom's birthday. It's too bad there's school but at least the whole family is there. I'm sorry for all the problems I gave you mom. I always try to be best so you can be proud of me, as I am proud to have you as my mom. You are the best mom ever! I wish you could teach me all you know about cooking! haha!

Our Christmas Party (December 21)

We had our winter party and 'twas also the start of our Christmas break. Well actually, here in Saudi Arabia, they don’t celebrate Christmas because they are Muslims. So there isn’t much Christmas spirit to feel in here. Still, Filipinos who stay in here still celebrate it though, be it in your own house, go out somewhere or invite lots of friends! Actually, we call this a winter break.

So, it was a memorable day. It’s the last Christmas Party I’ll ever celebrate with Perseus (my classmates). I know I’ll miss this a lot. And yes, I took a lot of pictures. :)

 

In the morning all high school played games. We won in the longest line. Afterwards we went to Polaris (the 4th year boys section) and had the rest of our Christmas party there. We only played two games though. And exchanged gifts and ate (a lot). We went back to our classroom (Perseus) to eat there. Our adviser was absent. So Perseus wasn’t complete. I still had fun though. I just wish I had brought my charger so I could’ve used my camera longer. But all is well :)

Christmas 2011

Dec. 24 (Christmas eve) - We spent our Christmas eve in Kingdom Tower Centre. Actually I feel like I had deja vu or something. When I stepped in the Skybridge, I felt like I already have gone there. But anyway, it was fun. Everything was beautiful! We took so many pictures!

I even lied in the glass! Whew!

Dec. 25 - My sister and I went outside to take pictures. It was fun! I tried light writing in my digicam before. It was fine but it was much more fun using a DSLR I could write longer. After taking pictures we went back to the house to help prepare making dinner. We kinda have to eat a late noche buena. I took a video of us which I will post here in tumblr. Here are the pictures anyway :)

  

Dec. 27 - This is the date of my parents’ anniversary! :) We had a candlelit dinner. I helped mom and dad cook Spaghetti and Korean chicken. I also took videos. Dad gave mom roses. It was so sweet! I wonder when will I get my own? haha!

Dec. 29 - We had a get-together with some family friends. We went to Riyadh Gallery and Batha after noon. We bought gifts and also looked for something nice to buy. Then we went home. I helped mom bake some brownies and also cleaned a bit. Then they came to our house. We waited for the other guests and took pictures then ate.. a lot! The korean chicken and pancit was so good! The best dessert was the brownies! haha! Then us girls went to our room to eat there and chit-chat. Afterwards we went out to take a walk then went back home and watched Charmed and when we’re about to bid goodbye we exchanged gifts and took pictures again and said goodbye. The best thing about us hosting parties is having the leftover food! Woohoo! I ate delicious food for breakfast this morning! haha!

My year twentyeleven and twentytwelve

Happy New Year! Since it's a new year already, I decided to maintain this blog. When I made my first post I still wasn't sure if I should have a personal blog at tumblr and a blog here. But now, I thought I should keep both. Anyhoodle, I will post some posts I've posted in tumblr. But only the important ones. :)

2011
It’s nice to say I’ve learned a lot of things this 2011. I’ve changed completely and have been a little serious more than before. I like who I am right now. The changes in 2011 was good. Although I’m expecting much more at 2012. I want to make a lot of memories. Especially this last two months of my high school life. Thank you God for everything that happened in 2011. I know I’ve made a lot of mistakes. But because of those, I’ve learned a lot. I hope I can do better this 2012.

A few memorable things/achievements I made through my year:

• Turned 15
• Made my personal blog: lovekayee (July 3, 2011, Sunday)
• Learned how to code HTML and how to make themes in tumblr
• Got my DSLR camera during summer vacation
• Learned so much about photography and took a lot of pictures
• Became more responsible to my studies
• Became organized (somehow)
• Got a piano (in my bday) and learned how to play a few songs
• My mom and sis went here before my birthday (a great present!)
• February 23 - first prom
• Christmas - first time going to Riyadh Kingdom tower (Skybridge)
• Around January - First (hand) surgery! x)
• February 23 - where my love for nail art started :)
• Last night (December 31) - first time baking by myself

2012
This year will be totally different. I’ll be graduating in March and have a fresh start because I’m going to college. I don’t really know what to expect. I can’t tell if I’m excited or scared.

This year I shall:

• learn how to cook
• learn how to bake
• get organized
• get better at college
• improve vocabulary
• make a 2012 scrapbook
• finish current scrapbook
• write on my planner often
• get healthy
• save more money
• be more outgoing
• learn how to read music notes
• buy a lot of scrapbooking materials
