Thankful thoughts

In a previous post, I mentioned that I’ll start this new category or blog project on my Thankful thoughts! So this is my first Thank you post. And the first I want to thank is God. Thank you so much God, for every thing. Although there’s so much that’s bothering me right now. I just pray every day that everything will be alright soon. Please continue to guide me God. Thank you so much for everything!
I am also thankful that my sister’s safe and now at home. I felt so happy when I saw her in the airport. I ran to her and gave her a big hug! And before going to the airport, I even made her a garland or bunting written “Welcome Home Ate” :) I made it the very same day she arrived. It looks kiddy though and I wish I could have just printed some different designs but at least I finished it! I rushed it. Here’s a picture:

I also want to thank my sister for every thing she gave me. I was very happy that night when she arrived! I was shouting and jumping in joy! :) Thank you soooo much sis!

What's inside that bag?

My laptop is having some problems right now. It shuts down by itself sometimes. And it frustrates me when it shuts down and I’m in the middle of doing something then didn’t even get to save it. So I’m typing this really fast because this might shut down again. I’m already deleting unnecessary files.
So anyway, my sister arrived from Philippines a week ago. I totally missed her! We’ve been having a lot of sisterly bonding now. Especially watching Keeping up the Kardashians together. We love that show so much, my sis bought all the seasons. image
Anyways, here are the things she bought for me! She stored all of the gifts in this bag. I loved it so much and when I opened it to check the inside I was surprised that there are things inside of it! Thank you sooo much sis! No words can express how grateful I am! I love you ate!

From Etude House. My sister gave this to me a long time ago. I’m excited to see her tomorrow! And anyway, I’m going to start a new category for my blog tomorrow. I’ll start posting of the things I’m thankful for. It will be very random. And the title will be: Thankful Thoughts image
I forgot where I got the idea from but I’ll update this as soon as I found the site! You guys can start posting these thankful thoughts too. I’m doing it to appreciate the little things more. Let’s get posting ♥
Anyway, you guys know Neha from amedrops? Well I just think she has a fabulous blog back when I still used my other blog capturingdreams a lot and didn’t have this blog yet. She followed me now, and I’m so glad to find her blog again! I totally missed her blog!! We’ve talked to before, I’m glad that she still remembers me and my old nail art tutorials :’> For me, it feels so nice to hear that someone you’ve talked to a while before still remembers you right? haha image

A Crackling Fire

image

Aside from the soothing sound of a crackling fire it gives, it also leaves a good smell and atmosphere. Sometimes I wouldn’t even bother lighting it. I just remove the lid and leave it open and it will still leave a great smell. I got it in my favorite color while my sister got in in Pink (her fave color). I don’t think I’ve mentioned it before. But last June 18 she left Riyadh and went to Philippines. I really miss her but I heard some good news and she’s coming back here in the 22nd! image

For Ronnie piano cover

I’m so happy I learned how to play my favorite piano song ever! And I learned the rest by ear! I just tapped to find the right keys until I did. Hope you like it! I also included videos I took of my mom and my sister.
This lovely song is from the movie The Last Song. Miley Cyrus played this song in the movie. It’s my favorite movie. I loved the song so much I tried to learn it on the piano (also the reason why I started playing the piano) and glad I finally learned how to.
Here’s the link on youtube of my video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrWzzws9Op0&feature=plcp

Peanut butter pancakes

image
I said before that I love breakfast time so I am always into very easy breakfast recipes. And because I love mixing peanut butter with other foods I tried to do it with pancakes! I mix peanut butter with a lot of foods: Oreos, bread, french toasts, biscuits, digestives, granola bars and pancakes! I added a lot peanut butter into the pancake mix. Now, the pancakes tasted like peanut butter! Yum!
I’ll post more easy breakfast recipes for you (and also for me because I tend to forget things often heehee) <3
Oh and look forward for my next post! I’ll be posting my piano cover of Steve’s theme/For Ronnie from the movie The Last Song! <3

D.I.Y Ribbon Watch band

I love DIYs! I love crafty things and making things for myself. Just like scrapbooking! I have saved lots of diy ideas here in my laptop. I’m very excited to make them!
So I saw this idea in one blog. I saw it on google and thought I should make my own watch band. And you can also substitute lace for the ribbon! I’ll totally try it next time! The bow/ribbon made it look so much more cute! And I love bows so much. Next time, I’ll make a bow haul! Anyway, it’s easy and doesn’t need much explanation.
  1. I tied a ribbon on my camera lens so I know how long the ribbon’s gonna be. You can ask help for another person.
  2. When I cut it, I just inserted the watch in the ribbon and asked some help to tie the ribbon/watch in my hand. That’s it! That was so easy right?
Keep coming back for more easy DIYs in the future! I’ll post more :) Keep in mind I got these ideas from the net. Next time I hope I think of my own <3
